Each of the 45 unique activities in the book is designed to teach a different word family - from a crossword that employs chAT and rAT to a word scramble lesson for hOG and lOG.

An extensive word list containing all the phonograms taught in this book is included for use with extended learning. Consider displaying an image of one of these words - say a cat - and asking students to write or illustrate as many "at" words as time allows.
