Little Bunny Foo Foo

We recently taught our kids the story and song of “Little Bunny Foo Foo”. They’ve wanted to hear it over and over, so it has become a popular afternoon activity. The other day we gave them one of our rabbit finger puppets and our son used it to sing the song to his sister. So we thought, since we have the rabbit and the field mice, all we need is the fairy to make the set complete. So the fairy puppets are on their way! (As is additional stock of the rabbits.)

For anyone looking for the words to the song, here they are.

Little Bunny Foo Foo,

Hopping through the forest

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ‘em on the head

Down came the good fairy and she said:

“Little Bunny Foo Foo,

I don’t want to see you

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ‘em on the head.

I’ll give you three chances,

And if you don’t stop

I’ll turn you into a goon!”

So the very next day:

Little Bunny Foo Foo,

Hopping through the forest

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ‘em on the head

Down came the good fairy and she said:

“Little Bunny Foo Foo,

I don’t want to see you

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ‘em on the head.

I’ll give you two more chances,

And if you don’t stop

I’ll turn you into a goon!”

So the next day:

Little Bunny Foo Foo,

Hopping through the forest

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ‘em on the head

Down came the good fairy and she said:

“Little Bunny Foo Foo,

And POOF! She turned him into a goon!
