I was given this game as part of my TED welcome package many years ago.
I had a wonderful time at TED, speakers were spectacular, the venues, etc. But out of that experience one of the things I appreciated most, and I still do is my River Crossing game.
It's a little dilapidated, I lost my "man" but it's one of the most brainy, fun games I have ever played. It builds logic and it's a plain old problem solving challenge that is fun for kids above 10, I would say. It will blow the mind out of that "brainy" uncle at Thanksgiving!
Kudos for River Crossing

I bought one of these years ago for my adult son. Now I have a friend that had a 50th birthday that I thought he should have one. I like to buy fun gifts for my adult friends and family. Looks fun and easy and it is - until you get to the challenging ones. But since I figured out so many I should be able to figure them all out right? When I bought this last one I got one for me so I can figure out every last one of these. I am always testing me to see if I can stay ahead of my granddaughers.

I am a teacher and a private tutor. My students solve these puzzles after they have finished their assignments. They love it. I love the way they have to think and problem solve! Beth Hagen
