My 2 year old really did NOT have the patience for these! She wants to open them up, so they are extremely frustrating for her! She's continually straining to open them and asking for my help to open them. The object of the blocks (the little puzzles inside) completely escapes her at this point. I'm sure that with age she will come to enjoy them, but for now I think that I would not recommend these blocks for someone so little. The website states that they are for very young babies, but I would hold off until the child is at least 3 or 4.

Mesmerizing Movement

This toy seems like a great addition to a group session of block play-- those children who are not in the mood the build will become engrossed by the movement within these blocks. The only problem would be that children may have a hard time sharing them!
