What's the difference between an accordion and a concertina?
The concertina, invented in 1829 by Charles Wheatstone, is similar to an accordion, but has a hexagonal shape and buttons on both ends. Concertina buttons travel in the same direction as the bellows whereas accordion buttons travel perpendicular to the direction of the bellows.Source: WikiPedia
