About WonderBrains
Our warehouse is located in Merritt Island, Florida, about 6 miles south of Kennedy Space Center. On shuttle launch days, you can find all of us outside in the parking lot, cheering on the astronauts! Any other time, we are inside, working to provide you with quality educational toys and games that inspire the natural wonder and genius in all of us.
Our Owners
Hello from central Florida! Our names are Peter and Susan Petracco, and our claim to fame notoriety are our three children. We discovered the need for our own involvment in their early education before our oldest was born. That was the beginning of WonderBrains. We constantly seek new and innovative educational toys and learning products to help stimulate their creativity and critical thinking. And old saying goes "Idle Hands Are The Devil's Tools", but the same can be said of idle minds.
Our Commitment to Education
WonderBrains supports our educational foundations, including daycares, preschools, and private and public school systems. We believe that every child should be entitled to quality education that meets his or her skill level and learning styles. We also adhere firmly to the belief that involvement of parents and guardians in their childrens' education is critical to the development of early cognitive skills, and to a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
Our goal is to constantly improve our services to you by providing articles and other information that can assist parents with their children's educational development, from birth through adulthood. Although our focus is on the Multiple Intelligence Theory by Howard Gardner, we recognize the validity and benefit of many educational and teaching styles, and urge you to find the one that suits you and your "wonder brains".
