Very young children love to feel in control, and pull toys such as these give them that feeling. This wooden hippo toy is cute and funny, and since it is made of wood (and made by Melissa and Doug who are known for high-quality wooden toys) it is sure to last much much longer than the cheap plastic pull toys.
