Very well made and will last for many years! The velcro is a great addition! You can't go wrong with any of the Melissa and Doug pretend foods. My daughter and her friends love playing with all of the pretend foods.

Who'd have thought that wooden food would be so much fun? I don't know if it's just the cool cutting sounds these foods make when you "cut" them, or whether it's that kids love doing what Mom does, but these are really fun. Clever idea.

The chopping action of this toy is so realistic feeling! I, an adult, often find myself playing with the set that we own! Oddly enough, there is something very pleasing about the way is feels to cut through the velcro which attaches the pieces. Children will love preparing 'meals' for you!
