What is WonderBrains all about?
As parents, we here at WonderBrains, believe that education and playtime don't have to be mutually exclusive terms. But in this high energy, multi-faceted market of toys, it seems more and more that the idea of educational toys is left as a nice concept with little mainstream support. It is our belief that parents want toys and games that can provide educational value and that is why our focus is on bringing the best quality educational toys to parents who are searching for ways to enhance their children's educational growth while still having fun. We feel that the more interested a child is in a toy the more likely they are to continue playing with it and when you couple that interest with an educational overtone, you've got a win-win situation.

We also believe in the Howard Gardner model of Multiple Intelligences and we constantly look for educational toys and games, baby toys and a variety of other types of types like construction and wooden toys that can be used to provide children with the ability to cultivate any or all of their own intelligences based on this model. Many children, as well as adults, find it difficult to conform to a rigid sense of the 3 R's (Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic) which is where Dr. Gardner's model takes over. Educational toys provide a conduit to creating enjoyable and enthusiastic play while also engaging the child in new and innovative ways to learn without making them think they're being taught!!

Our goal at WonderBrains is to find educational toys and games that work well in this Multiple Intelligences model, which is why you will find our MI icons on every product page. We continually strive to be the very best provider and partner with our customers/parents in helping you help your children grow as people. Educational toys and games do not need to be boring, rather it is our hope that children, from a very early age can be exposed to learning in fun and exciting ways, which can and should make for a lifetime of enjoyment as they seek to learn and explore their world.
We also work to make sure that our toys are not subject to safety recalls, and that if any occur, they are removed from our line immediately. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission is a great place to help you keep an eye on recalls. We also announce toy recalls on our blog.
